Introduction
|
Patrick is a 20-year industry veteran as a senior operating and development executive in the live entertainment business and has held top positions in 5 major public/private partnerships, most notably as Chief Operating Officer of Clear Channel Entertainment’s (now Live Nation Entertainment) Music Group Venues. Previous to his appointment as COO, he was Executive Vice President of the Music Group Venues. In his role as Executive Vice President of the music group venues, representing billions of dollars in revenue, Patrick garnered extensive operations experience covering over 65 live entertainment venues ranging from clubs and theaters to 38 major amphitheaters in 49 U.S. Markets and relationships in the entertainment business. Patrick is a Founder and Principal of Incognitus, LLC and Founder and Managing Director of 409 Management & Consulting, entertainment industry consulting services firms.

Outdoor Event Center & Arena - Lake Cumberland, KY – Provide a comprehensive research study model that provides for the feasibility of two separate public facilities with separate ownership groups, within the same State and having overlapping markets. The study would provide critical information needed to secure both governmental funding (Federal, State and Municipal) and private funding for both venues. This information would include market research, financial projections, design recommendations, demographic research, SWOT analysis, programming options, competition evaluation, staffing models and other critical information necessary for development and funding decisions.
Event Center - @ Lider CC – Caracas, Venezuela - Development of an outdoor event and concert space located on the roof top of an eight story retail shopping center in a densely populated urban market in South America. Provide guidance on the configuration of the site plan, infrastructure services planning, customer access, facility amenities and flexible use capability. Convention & Exhibition, Arena, Lifestyle – Kingdom of Bahrain - Project Management support for a new venue including, master planning and development, operational readiness and environment and sustainability for a lifestyle entertainment complex in the Middle East. Act as the developers advocate, providing strategic input to the business planning, master planning and conceptual architecture while providing oversight of the timeline and development of the project. Provide the Client/Owner an expertise that ensures professional and thorough master planning development of the site layout of the venues and verticals. Included in the scope would be operational site design review of the project program with the consideration of all components of the project and long-term project vision, in coordination with the master planner, architectural team, project consultant and stakeholders.
Operational Audit & Customer Experience Management – Australia Football League – Melbourne, Australia - Established a comprehensive audit program tailored to the unique qualities of the venue. Provide evaluation and analysis of a completed operational assessment to report on the event experience from initial guest contact through each and every touch point of a guest’s experience at the event match. Included in the process was a Guest Survey Program. The survey program provided direct feedback and insight to help the Client more fully understand and appreciate the needs and desires of their guest. The information helped to create the best experience for the guest and integrate that experience standard across all guest touch points and throughout every level of the Client’s organization and venue operation. Further analysis of the Client’s guest experience at multiple other events during the season and identified areas for both quick and long-term improvement.
Stadium - Major League Baseball -Target Field – Minneapolis, Minnesota – Site study for the integration of an event facility into a Major League Baseball stadium.
Festival Site – Music Festival, Orlando, FL - Provide leadership in developmental planning, organization of ownership, funding alternatives, business modelling and operational budget creation. Provide the development group with a realistic reflection of the required business components, brand and event marketing programs, timelines and possible business opportunities. Arena, Exhibition Center & Theatre Complex – Greensboro, North Carolina – Provide day to day Operational Management of a 24,000 seat arena, 120,000 sq.ft exhibition center and 2,200 seat performing arts theatre over a 12 month period, through a $42 million dollar renovation and expansion project, for the City of Greensboro and Managing Authority Board.
